Every adventure starts somewhere. At Nebraska Hills Press, this one starts with Dancing Jimmy.

Dancing Jimmy is part of our growing world of original children’s short adventure stories, alongside characters such as the Popcorn Girls, Popcorn Boys, and Bonny the Baby Clown. Each is an invitation to step away from the everyday and spend a little time in a world of imagination.

For me, creating these characters is about making something original to share. A name, a picture, an idea, and little by little, a story begins to take shape.

Here on Stories from Nebraska Hills, I’ll share glimpses of that creative journey, introduce our characters, and give you a look at what’s coming next.
